Paying your fees
This page explains how and when to pay your tuition fees, depending on whether you are funded by Student Finance England (SFE), a sponsor, or paying privately.
Tuition fees
Your tuition fee covers teaching and academic delivery, access to learning platforms and resources, and assessment and examination costs. It doesn’t cover living costs, travel or accommodation, and registration fees (where applicable).
Most home students use a Tuition Fee Loan from Student Finance England (SFE) to pay their tuition fees.
If you are funded by SFE:
- Your tuition fees are paid directly to RCL
- You do not need to make a payment yourself
To confirm your tuition fees:
- Apply for a Tuition Fee Loan for the correct academic year
- Select Regent College London as your provider in your SFE application
- Complete the College’s enrolment process
RCL needs confirmation of your tuition fee payment from the Student Loans Company to mark your fees as confirmed. Eligibility is determined by SFE, not RCL.
Important notice:
- Apply to SFE as early as possible
- Late or incomplete applications may delay your fee confirmation
If you are not funded by Student Finance England, you must pay your tuition fees directly to RCL by the deadline.
Pay online (Recommended)
Use Flywire for secure online payments. You must include your student reference number so your payment can be allocated correctly.
Pay by bank transfer (BACS)
You can also pay via bank transfer using the following details:

Important notice:
- Payments without a reference cannot be matched to your account.
- Transfers must be made in advance of the deadline.
Sponsored students
If your fees are paid by a third-party sponsor (like an employer), provide a sponsorship letter confirming the amount and academic year. You remain responsible for any uncovered fees.
Tuition fee deadlines
Tuition fees must be paid in full or covered by confirmed Student Finance England funding or sponsorship.
Important conditions:
- Fees are subject to RCL’s Terms and Conditions
- Late payments may result in:
- Delays in enrolment confirmation
- Restricted access to RCL systems
- Further actions per RCL regulations
