1–2 minutes

Updated: April 21, 2026

This page has been updated to confirm that all campus-based classes will be delivered online from Tuesday 21 to Friday 24 April.

Campus classes moving online due to Tube strikes

London Underground (Tube) strikes are planned between Tuesday 21 April and Friday 24 April 2026.

When are the strikes?

Strike action is due to take place on:

  • Tuesday 21 April to Wednesday 22 April
  • Thursday 23 April to Friday 24 April

Each strike starts at midday (12:00) on the first day and continues until late morning (11:59 am) the following day. This means severe disruption across the Tube network is expected on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and evenings, and on Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Other public transport will be running, including buses, the Elizabeth line, DLR and London Overground. However, these services are expected to be much busier than usual. If you need to travel, plan your journey, check live updates, and allow extra time.

Campus classes moving online

Due to expected disruption, all classes scheduled on campus from Tuesday 21 to Friday 24 April will be delivered online.

If you are already studying online, your classes will continue as normal.

How will my classes work?

If your class is scheduled on campus on these days, you will be emailed a Microsoft Teams link before your class starts. Please ensure you join on time as attendance is mandatory.

You must:

  • Attend your scheduled class at the usual time
  • Check your email for your Microsoft Teams link
  • Join from a suitable environment
  • Take part as you would in a face-to-face session
  • Have your camera switched on

Can I visit campus during the strike?

All campuses will remain open on strike days, with reduced hours from 9 am to 5 pm.
