New micro-libraries launching across RCL campuses

Access books for study and research at your local campus.

Regent College London (RCL) is launching new micro-libraries to make reading resources more accessible to students across all RCL campuses.

The new micro-libraries will give students access to a selection of books that can be borrowed locally from dedicated bookshelves on campus, alongside the resources already available in the main Fitzrovia Campus Library.

The micro-libraries are being rolled out across campuses and will be fully available by the end of June 2026. The Kingsbury micro-library is now ready for students to browse and borrow from.

Students can borrow up to three books at a time for up to one week, after which the books must be returned.

Where to find the micro-libraries

Students will be able to find the micro-library bookshelves at the following locations:

  • Kingsbury Campus – Student area, 1st floor, near the computer lab
  • Holborn Campus – Student communal area
  • Southall Campus – Student communal area
  • Wembley Campus – Student hub

How to borrow a book

Borrowing a book is simple. Students who would like to borrow a book from their campus micro-library should visit Reception, where a member of staff will be happy to assist.

Before borrowing a book, students should review the Lending Library Student Policy terms and conditions.

Books available to borrow

Students can view the books available at each campus using the reading lists below:

Titles may be updated periodically, but the reading lists provide an overview of the resources available in each local micro-library.

This new initiative aims to support reading, research and personal development by making library resources easier to access, regardless of campus location.

If you have any questions about the micro-libraries or books available, please contact the Library Team at library@rcl.ac.uk.
