Career Discovery Week: Employer talks

Hear from industry professionals across a range of industries

Career Discovery Week returns from 27 April to 2 May 2026, offering a full programme of employer-led sessions designed to help you explore your future career options. 

This week-long employability event, organised by RCL’s Careers Team, will give you practical insight into different industries and what it takes to transition from study into employment, progress in your current role, or explore new career directions.  

Through a series of talks and Q&A sessions, you’ll hear directly from employers about: 

  • Job roles and day-to-day responsibilities  
  • Career journeys and progression opportunities  
  • Skills and qualifications needed in their sector  
  • Recruitment and application processes  

Sessions will take place on campus and online, with all campus events also livestreamed (join via Outlook calendar), giving you flexibility to join from anywhere.
