Exam dates

Accessing your exam timetable

You are responsible for knowing the correct date, time, and location of your exam. You are expected to make yourself available for all your scheduled exams and prepare accordingly for the day.

Exam periods

Semester 1 exams: January

Semester 2 exams: May and June

Resit exams: August and September

How to find your exam timetable

Your personal exam timetable will be posted on your announcements page on Canvas. You will also be notified by email when it’s ready to view. Please make sure to check Canvas and your emails regularly ahead of the exam period for your programme.

Can’t see your exam timetable?

If you haven’t received information about your exams for this semester, please contact the Student Services at studentservices@rcl.ac.uk and include your student HE number in your email.

Please note that not all students will have exams in the same semester, as this depends on when you enrolled.

How exams are scheduled?

You are expected to prioritise your availability when an exam is scheduled for your programme.

Your exams may not always align with your teaching timetable. If your exam coincides with a scheduled class, you will be excused from the class to attend the exam. However, if you have a class on the day of an exam and there is no overlap, you must attend your scheduled class in accordance with the Attendance and Engagement Policy.

Where are exams scheduled?

Exams are conducted online, on-campus, and off-campus. The location of your exam will be clearly indicated on your exam timetable, and you will receive all the necessary details in advance. The location of your exam cannot be changed, so make sure to arrange your plans accordingly ahead of time.
