Submitting forms and requesting official letters

Use these forms to report an absence, request an official letter, update your personal information or request a group transfer. 

Report an absence form

If you cannot attend a class, please fill out the Absence Reporting Form promptly. This ensures we accurately record your absence and can offer any academic or wellbeing support you may need. 

Submit the form before your class if you know you’ll be away, or within 5 working days after your absence. 

Valid reasons for absence

Absences must normally relate to illness, unexpected personal circumstances, or serious events. Routine work, holidays, or travel arrangements are generally not accepted as valid grounds for absence.

Letter of proof of student status

You can request an official letter that confirms your enrolment at Regent College London.

This letter can be used for:

  • Opening a bank accounts.
  • Council tax exemption.
  • Proof of study for employers.
  • Other official purposes.

Change of personal details

If any of your personal information has changed – such as your name, address, phone number, or emergency contact – you must let us know as soon as possible. Keeping your records up to date ensures you receive important college communications and documentation without delay. 

When completing the Change of Personal Details Form, you may need to upload supporting evidence (e.g., a legal name change document or proof of a new address). 

Request to change groups

If you need to change your class group due to a timetable conflict, work commitments, or personal reasons, you can submit a Group Transfer Request Form. Each request will be reviewed individually and must be approved before any changes can take place.  

Please keep in mind that submitting a request does not guarantee approval, as transfers depend on the availability of group spaces and academic scheduling. You will be informed once a decision has been made regarding your request.
