Learning platforms

Accessing online learning platforms (VLE)

Your Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is your online learning platform, where you’ll access teaching materials and key course information.

When you enrol on your programme, you’ll be given access to your learning platform. All students have access to Regent College London’s VLE, Canvas. Depending on your awarding university partner, you may also use Moodle or Blackboard.

If you’re not sure which platform you should use, check your:

  • Enrolment communications.
  • Programme information.

What you’ll use your VLE for

Your VLE is where you’ll typically find:

  • Module and weekly learning materials (slides, readings, activities).
  • Announcements and updates from your tutors.
  • Assessment briefs and submission links (where your course uses online submission).
  • Feedback and grades (where your partner releases results through the VLE).

Getting started

  1. Find your login details (sent to you after enrolment).
  2. Sign in on a laptop or desktop first (it’s usually easier for set-up).
  3. Check your timetable and list of modules.
  4. Turn on notifications so you don’t miss announcements or deadline updates.
