Borrowing library books

We’re trialling the library as a lending library, allowing students to borrow books on a short-term basis. You can now check up to three books out with the librarian and return them within the allocated time.

Before taking items out of the library, please read the student guide and borrowing policy.

Campus micro-libraries

You can also access books through our micro-libraries, located at campuses across RCL. These dedicated bookshelves provide a selection of books that can be borrowed locally, making library resources more accessible to students studying away from Fitzrovia.

Micro-library locations:

  • Holborn Campus – Student communal area
  • Kingsbury Campus – Student area, 1st floor (near the computer lab)
  • Southall Campus – Student communal area
  • Wembley Campus – Student hub

You can view the books available at each campus using the reading lists below:

Titles may be updated periodically, but the reading lists provide an overview of the resources available in each local micro-library.

Students can borrow up to three books for one week at a time. To borrow a book from a micro-library, please visit reception where a member of staff will assist you. Before borrowing any books, please read the borrowing policy above.
